Dr. Aliza binti Ali
Dr Aliza Ali is currently a Cluster Chair of Cluster of Education and Social Sciences (CESS). She is also the Programme Director of Master of Early Childhood Education (MECHE). Since 2002, after being a teacher at a private school, she joined Smart Reader Worldwide Sdn Bhd in 2004 as a teachers’ trainer and writer of Smart Reader Kids programme.
In 2012, she joined Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and worked as a lecturer in early childhood department. Then in 2015, she joined OUM as an external SME and later took on a full-time position in the early of 2017. During her involvement in early childhood education, she has conducted workshops for preschool teachers from Malaysia and Singapore. Dr Aliza is also an author of children books and has published over 50 works including many books which involve various themes. She has presented papers at local and international conferences and published academic books, chapter in book, academic journals included in SCOPUS and ISI. Throughout her involvement in research, she has conducted research with children and preschool teachers of Ministry of Education (MoE), KEMAS, Perpaduan and private preschools.
