Dr Hamidah Mat is a Senior Lecturer in the Cluster of Education and Social Sciences. She started her teaching career at International Islamic University Malaysia in the year 2000.  She joined OUM in 2015 until now and she is currently a full time staff in CESS.

Dr Hamidah Mat is the Program Director for Master of Islamic Studies (MIST) and Course Leader for Islamic Studies Courses mainly courses pertaining to Syariah and Islamic Education.

• Master of Syariah, Akademi Pengajian Islam, University of Malaya, (2003)
• Bachelor Degree in Fiqh and Usul , Al-al Bayt University, Jordan (1999)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching , OUM (2018)
