Puan Nurhusna binti Abdul Malek received her Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from University Pendidikan Sultan Idris and obtained her Master in Early Childhood Education from the same university in 2017. Currently, she is a lecturer in Early Childhood Education at the Cluster of Education and Social Science, Open University Malaysia, where she joined since 2020.

She is the Programme Director for Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her PhD at University Pendidikan Sultan Idris in early childhood education focusing on developing homeschooling module for young children.
